It was our annual get-out-of-town holiday event and before exploring St. Augustine, we planned to meet the brothers in Savannah Georgia. You know it’s a great Christmas when you don’t want or need anything. Here are a few of my favorite things from the trip:
Champagne breakfast
Christmas Dinner at the Pink House– Uh. Maze. Ing.
Reindeer pancakes
THE WIG
Second African Baptist Church where Martin Luther King preached his “I Have a Dream” speech.
Tony’s Shrimp & Grits and Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Mmmm, bacon.
Writing late-night letters from Santa.
Listening to Christmas music – “Baby it’s cold outside” and playing Yahtzee.
Symmetry
River Street and the trolley ride.
Alex’s gorgeous cookies – perfection! Let’s not forget the handmade hats he made for each of us.
The gourmet 24-hour gas station and Dexter.
This alley
Making a penny souvenir
The trip to North Carolina – Hilton Head Beach
Savannah is certainly a beautiful woman with a dirty face.
