The No Recipe Zucchini Chip

I’ve been noticing a lot of Zucchini Chip recipes on Pinterest lately. I mean, they are EVERYWHERE.

But you don’t need a recipe to make these crispy lil gems. Recipes are for those who color within the lines. Those that lack creativity.  The unimaginative.

All you really need is a dehydrator.

So grab a zucchini (organic, please.) and slice away. Thin. Thick. It doesn’t matter.

Throw the slices in a bowl and lightly coat with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt.

Place in the dehydrator. I can’t give you an exact time except mine took close to 5 hours to make. I can think of a thousand things to do in a 5 hour period! Just check them periodically and removed the zucchini’s that are to your liking.

zuccchipsPotato chips no more. These crispy thins will replace your craving for that salty crunch. And don’t just stop at salt. Be bold by adding paprika, herbs and/or powdered cheeses.
