It was a pool party on the rooftop down in the Yucatán. Hotdogs, raw veggies and watermelon were the main course, but the real hit was the frozen piña colada pineapple drinks created by Chevy.

We sipped the cool drinks from the pool ledge as we volleyed the ball back and forth over the net. The ocean peaked through an arch in the backdrop. I bribed the guard with a hotdog and ice-cold Coca Cola after he seemed concerned about the length of the shindig.

Make your party a hit and cleanup a breeze with the ultimate summer drink!
To create the pineapple cups:
Slice the top of the pineapple off a half-inch from the top. Core the inside of the pineapple with an ice cream scoop or spoon. Make sure you don’t scoop all the way to the skin or your pineapple will leak. You can leave the center core in or take it out. Freeze overnight.

Chevy’s Piña Colada’s:
- 2 parts top shelf rum
- 2 parts pineapple juice
- 1 part lime juice
- 1/2 part honey syrup
- 2 pineapple chunks
- Fresh grated cinnamon
Combine all ingredients in a blender with 1 cup of ice and blend for 20 seconds. Pour into a cored pineapple.
Top off with a straw and one of those paper umbrella thingys.
