When it comes to Valentine’s Day some need a whole shoebox to hold the heap of love notes they are going to get. Especially, when classmates are involved.
Instead of the same ‘ol shoebox cut in the top I decided to get creative and get monster with it. He’s super low maintenance and lives off of love letters!
Materials used:
- Ikea file box
- Newspaper
- Tape
- White & Green Foam
- Pen
- Tissue Paper (I used a heart design)
- Glue Gun & Glue
- White Glue
- Cardboard
Wrap the Ikea file box and lid with newspaper using tape to secure it. Cut circles out of the tissue paper and glue them on the box. Make the eyes by gluing the foam on the back of a piece of cardboard. Use pen for the eyeballs. Cut out teeth and hot glue gun them to the inside of the lid. Hot glue gun the lid to the base so that the “mouth” is slightly open.
This little guy is ready to be stuffed with valentines and is hungry for love!
